Houa V. is an experienced program coordinator currently serving as the Economic Prosperity Programs Coordinator at Opening Doors since February 2023. In this role, Houa V. manages over five grants aimed at enhancing the financial stability of immigrants and refugees in the Greater Sacramento Area through career pathways, financial literacy, and microenterprise support. Prior experience includes serving as Program Officer at the California Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce, where Houa V. developed partnerships and provided technical assistance to disadvantaged businesses, and as Project Associate at Valley Vision, Inc., supporting the Listos California Emergency Preparedness Campaign. Additional earlier work at California State University-Sacramento involved various part-time roles in student services. Houa V. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University-Sacramento.
