Apoorva Deshpande is an accomplished engineering manager and principal software engineer at Okta since April 2018, specializing in Zero Trust and Passwordless experiences. Currently a contributor to the OpenID Foundation's Shared Signals Framework Working Group, Apoorva focuses on developing data sharing schemas and privacy protocols to enhance security against account compromises. Prior experience includes roles at Tintri as a staff software engineer, where Apoorva led efforts in data center management and integration strategies, and a software engineer position at Savvis, developing middleware and cloud solutions. Apoorva holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
