Millie Crossland has over 20 years of experience in project management and implementation roles. Millie is currently working as a Project Manager at OpenGov Inc. since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Implementation Manager at ProcureNow from March 2021 to July 2021.

From 2020 to 2021, Millie worked at AccruePartners as an IT Project Manager, where they led a project for route administration software implementation and worked with cross-functional teams on integration and business requirements.

From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Sidwell as a Project Implementation Analyst, leading the Accela partner implementation team and improving client engagement and team productivity. Millie also increased sales of professional services to existing clients.

From 2016 to 2017, Millie worked at Byrne Software Technologies, Inc. as a Project Manager, where they scheduled, monitored, and tested configuration work and led implementations of COTS SaaS permitting software.

Prior to that, they worked at Accela, Inc. from 2014 to 2016 as a Project Manager, managing a $2M portfolio and creating a project punch list to remove obstacles and ensure project completion.

From 2012 to 2014, Millie worked as a Technology Project Liaison at the City of Kansas City, MO, where they developed solutions to enhance technology resources, improve efficiency, and communication throughout the city.

From 2008 to 2011, they worked at the City of Oakland, Police Department as the Manager of Records Division, leading projects to increase efficiency, update processes, and improve customer service.

From 1999 to 2008, Millie worked at the City of Kansas City, MO, first as the City Clerk, modernizing outdated processes and implementing efficient computer-based systems, and later as the Assistant to the Mayor, planning and implementing major initiatives and delivering presentations to the Mayor and City Council.

Millie Crossland's education history includes a Master of Social Work degree in Social Work Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Additionally, they have a Master of Science (MS) degree in Gerontology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Millie also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Southwest Baptist University.
