Stephen Bavier has a diverse and extensive work experience. Stephen is currently working as a UI Engineer at Openforce since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Co-Owner of Valnoir.com starting from 2019.
From 2015 to 2022, they worked at the New York Genome Center in various roles. As a Frontend Developer, they led the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the main public-facing website. Stephen also worked on a PFAM exploratory tool in collaboration with scientists from affiliate institutions. Stephen started at the New York Genome Center as a Web Developer Associate.
Earlier in their career, Stephen founded and owned WebMane.net from 2011 to 2015, where they were responsible for managing and operating the business. Stephen also worked as a Web Developer at The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) from 2012 to 2015, where they maintained and updated websites and web servers for multiple colleges and taught an introductory course on HTML5/CSS.
Stephen has also held positions at Blue Star Jets as a Marketing Manager, Online Media, and Graphic Design from 2010 to 2011, and as the Director of Marketing at Madame Paulette in 2008. Stephen worked as an Account Manager at AmeriMerchant from 2007 to 2008, and as an Auction Runner at Auction by Cameron from 1999 to 2007.
In 2006, Stephen worked at AIM Healthcare as a Regional Account Manager, where they independently managed providers, identified insurance overpayments, and exceeded revenue quotas.
Throughout their career, Stephen has demonstrated expertise in UI engineering, web development, marketing, and account management.
Stephen Bavier received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut, where they attended from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained various certifications from Google, including "Reliable Google Cloud Infrastructure: Design and Process", "Elastic Google Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation", "Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services", "Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation", and "Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure". These certifications were obtained between December 2019 and October 2021.
