Dave Pike has worked in the software development field since 2007. In 2007, they began working as a Software Engineer at Scitor Corporation, where they performed maintenance and functionality enhancement support for an Oracle database-driven geospatial ASP web application written in VBScript and using ArcIMS, and worked with a team to upgrade an ASP VBScript web application to an ASP.NET 3.5 C# web application. Dave also created a data management wizard for adding and updating records in an Oracle database from a web user interface developed using ASP. In 2012, they began working as a Technical Consultant for Client Resources, Inc. and as a Software Developer III for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska, where they were responsible for developing ASP.NET MVC web applications and WCF web services as well as providing database design recommendations. In 2016, they began working as a Software Developer at HATCX, where they worked with a small team of developers to build customer-facing applications used by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska to improve members’ utilization of their insurance products, and was primarily responsible for developing API services used by the web and mobile applications. In 2019, they began working as a Software Engineer at Aviture, and in 2021, they began working as a Cloud Engineer at Opendorse.

Dave Pike obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2008. Dave then pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science and Software Engineering, also from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, which they completed in 2010. In January 2019, Dave Pike obtained an AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
