Joshua Christman has a long and diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Joshua began their career in the United States Air Force as a Cyberwarfare Officer in 2009. Joshua then moved on to work as a Senior Security Engineer at Open Security, Inc. and later at PLEX Solutions, LLC. Joshua took on leadership roles at Finance of America Companies, serving as Director of Infrastructure Security, Director of Offensive Security, and Director of Vulnerability Management and Discovery. In 2021, Joshua founded Up North Cyber, where they specialized in Penetration Testing. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operations Officer at Open Security, Inc.

Joshua Christman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution. Joshua also obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology's Graduate School of Engineering & Management. In 2018, Joshua obtained certifications as an Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE) and Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security.
