Dmitry Gurin has worked in the software industry since 2003. From 2003 to 2006, they were a UI/UX Designer and HTML-coder for InMAK. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Product Designer for Travelmenu. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Business Analyst and UI/UX Designer for VK Production Group. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Business Analyst and Product Designer for Svitla Systems, Inc. Since 2015, they have been a Senior Product Owner for Oro Inc. and, since 2021, a Senior Product Manager for Open Mineral.

Dmitry Gurin obtained a Junior Specialist degree from Kharkiv Radio Technical College in 2006, after studying in the Department of Programming from 2002 to 2006. Dmitry then went on to receive a Bachelor's and a Specialist's degree from Kharkiv National University of Economics in 2010, where they studied in the Faculty of Economic Informatics.
