Wendy Johns has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Wendy began their career as an Art Director at Publicis Mojo Brisbane, working on advertising campaigns for clients such as Bank of Queensland, Bundaberg Ginger Beer, and Nerada Tea. Wendy then worked as a Freelance Art Director at various advertising agencies, gaining experience in the healthcare sector with clients like Wyeth Nutrition and Novartis.
After their freelance work, Wendy joined Human advertising as an Art Director, working specifically on the NRMA brand. Wendy then moved on to Ogilvy One, where they worked on direct marketing campaigns for brands such as IBM, American Express, and Qantas. Wendy also worked as an Art Director at Nutrition Systems, where they focused on building the company's brand through social media and fitness trade fair collateral.
Wendy's passion for creating engaging content led their to roles as an Instructional Designer at Acquire Learning and Aspin eLearning, where they developed elearning lessons for various clients, including the Department of Water, Land and Planning and iSelect. Their responsibilities included gamifying lessons to cater to different learning styles and levels.
Most recently, Wendy worked as the Head Art Director at eCreators by Open LMS - eLearning Innovation Provider, leading the instructional design team and working with clients such as Nissan, Chanel, and Porsche Lifeline. Wendy was involved in the entire design process, from planning to prototyping and UX/UI design.
Throughout their career, Wendy has demonstrated their ability to create engaging and stimulating content across various industries and channels, making their a well-rounded and experienced creative professional.
Wendy Johns attended the University of Canberra from 1990 to 1992, where they pursued a degree in Graphic Design and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA).
