Rupesh Vyas serves as an Associate Professor at Aalto University since August 2016, specializing in Information Design and Data Visualization. In addition, Rupesh has been a Professor of Design Practice at Open Knowledge Finland since December 2020 and a Board Member of the IIID International Institute for Information Design since September 2007, where responsibilities include promoting Information Design concepts in India. Rupesh has also held positions as Design Director at Scope and Senior Faculty at the National Institute of Design, where mentorship in Information and Digital Design was provided. Prior teaching experience includes a role as Lecturer in Visual Communication at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Educational qualifications include an MFA in Applied Arts from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and certifications in Geoinformatics and the National Eligibility Test for Lecturer.
