Tinatin Ninua

Acting Director, Independent Reporting Mechanism at Open Government Partnership

Tinatin is the deputy director of OGP’s Independent Reporting Mechanism. She leads communication and outreach efforts for IRM’s international reports and oversees quality control of assessments in 40+ countries. Her expertise is in anti-corruption, elections, political party financing, and democracy building. Prior to joining OGP, she was with the Transparency International Secretariat where she worked on political corruption research and advocacy in various regions of the world and also managed a regional EU-funded initiative on public sector integrity in South East Europe. In her home country Georgia, Tinatin worked at NDI on issues of voter education and institutional strengthening and was a leading expert for UNDP’s electoral assistance project providing support to the Central Election Commission. Tinatin received her BA in Public Administration at the Georgian Technical University and holds the Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.
