Sameer Samat is an experienced technology executive currently serving as President of the Android Ecosystem at Google since January 2016, overseeing Android and its various verticals, including mobile, WearOS, TV, Auto, AR/XR, and the Play Store. Previously, Sameer held roles such as VP/GM of the Android Ecosystem and was a Vice President/GM for Google Shopping & Travel, leading product, engineering, and design teams. Sameer also has board membership experience at Open English and has served as President at Jawbone. Prior to Google, Sameer was Executive Vice President of Products at Kofax and the founding CEO and CTO of Mohomine, which was acquired by Kofax. Sameer co-founded Sourcebank, acquired by JupiterMedia, and interned at Microsoft. Sameer holds a PMD from Harvard Business School and a BS in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
