Vera Schroeder is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both academia and the business sector. Currently serving as a Board Member for 2Pi Inc., Concerto Biosciences, and 5x5 Technologies Inc., Vera is also a Partner at Safar Partners and a Global Talent Fellow in Chemistry at the Open Avenues Foundation, which supports underrepresented student populations in the U.S. Vera holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where additional roles included Graduate Teaching Assistant and Environmental Health & Safety Officer. Previous editorial experience includes serving as Assistant Editor for Synfacts, where 36 contributions were authored. Educational achievements include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University and a credential from Harvard Business School Online.
