Kai Aschmoneit is a seasoned engineering professional with significant expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and combustion chamber design for aircraft engines. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Opel since May 2014, Kai's previous roles include postdoctoral research at the Institute for Energy and Power Plant Technology, Technische Universität Darmstadt, where responsibilities encompassed combustion modeling and CFD simulation. Kai also held a research associate position during a PhD scholarship focused on unsteady system modeling of aircraft engines and contributed as a teaching assistant.
