Jose Ramon Vela Martin has worked in various roles throughout their career. Jose Ramon started their career as a Junior Programmer at Capgemini in 1998. Jose Ramon then worked as an Administrator of Systems at RETEVISION MOVIL, specifically in the Operations Department, from December 1998 to January 2001. From there, they joined IT Deusto in 2001 as a Citrix/Terminal Server Engineer, where they were responsible for administering and designing the Citrix Metaframe environment. Jose Ramon worked on migrations, support, and 24/7 monitoring.
In 2003, they joined Microsoft as a PreSales Technical Support, providing support and assistance to Gold and Certified Partners in Spain. Jose Ramon also handled tasks related to licensing, infrastructure, and training. Jose Ramon continued working at Microsoft until 2008, taking on roles such as a Microsoft Certified Trainer and an On-site Engineer in Microsoft environments.
After their tenure at Microsoft, they worked as a Freelance Microsoft Certified Trainer from April 2008 to October 2011, before joining Nextel Engineering Systems as a Senior Infrastructure Consultant. During this time, they worked on various projects, including one for Procuradores Españoles and as a Field Engineer for BBVA.
In 2013, they joined Colt Technology Services as a Technical Lead Engineer for Europe, where they provided third level support for customers across Europe. Later in 2013, they moved to The Workshop - Inventors of play as a Windows System Administrator, where they were part of a worldwide support team.
In 2015, they joined Indra as an IT Infrastructure Consultant, specifically working in the Talisman Project for Repsol. Jose Ramon worked on merging different AD Forests, designing new domains, and creating documentation for different tests.
Currently, Jose Ramon Vela Martin is working at opdenergy as an IT Director since 2018.
Jose Ramon Vela Martin obtained a Tecnico Superior en Informatica de Gestion degree in Informatica from F.P Palomeras-Vallecas, which they completed between 1993 and 1996.
