Beth Sanftner, M.Ed., currently serves as the Program Coordinator at Opal Services, Inc., a position held since January 2018. Previously, Sanftner worked as a Program Technician at the Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center from December 2003 to December 2015, where responsibilities included coordinating the Native American Curriculum for substance abuse and prevention programs in Minnesota, creating data collection tools, and leading program grant reporting. Early career roles included positions as a Summer School EBD Teacher and Special Education Para at Saint Paul Public Schools and various roles at Twin Cities Public Television from 1987 to 1999. Sanftner holds a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Art Education, all obtained from the University of Minnesota.
