Wesley Won has a solid work experience spanning over several years. Wesley began their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Corporal from January 1992 to January 1996. Following their military service, they joined Nara Bank as an Assistant Vice President & MIS Officer from November 1996 to March 2001. Wesley then moved to Hanmi Bank, where they worked as a Senior Vice President & MIS Manager from March 2001 to September 2009. Currently, Wesley is employed at Open Bank, serving as the Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer since September 2010.

Wesley Won has an extensive education history. In 1989, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. After that, in 1997, they attended the IT Certification Institute LLC and obtained a certification as a Certified Novell Engineer, which they completed in 1999. In 2005, Wesley completed a Sequential Course on IT Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, receiving a Certification of Completion. Lastly, from 2008 to 2010, they attended Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree.
