Ian Rodrigues is an experienced System Engineer and Software Engineer with a strong background in developing and optimizing infrastructure and application performance. Currently at Petco since June 2018, Ian has contributed to the POS team by implementing monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch and New Relic, creating tools in Python and Shell, and establishing a code review process to enhance code quality. Ian has also led infrastructure migrations and developed automated deployment processes to improve team productivity. Prior experience includes roles at oowlish, Pionect, Funceme, and INBEC, focusing on software development and web technologies, with significant achievements in reducing technical debt and enhancing application functionalities.
