Tobias Katz is an experienced professional in construction and design, currently serving as Vice President of Construction and Design at ootbox since September 2022, where responsibilities include designing and building highly productive spaces under 100 sq ft. Prior to this role, Tobias Katz founded Katz Box, LLC, in January 2017, which originated as a senior thesis project at the Columbus College of Art & Design focused on modular housing systems, culminating in the creation of a customizable home system and a full-sized functional prototype. Earlier experience includes an internship at Boss Display Corp, specializing in large-scale exhibit and museum installations, and a position as a Grant Lab Fabrication Shop Technician at Columbus College of Art & Design. Tobias Katz holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Industrial and Product Design from Columbus College of Art & Design, earned in 2017.
