Jorjha Unwin has extensive work experience in various industries. Jorjha started their career at McDonald's Australia Limited as a Shift Supervisor from April 2013 to November 2016. Jorjha then worked at Fuel Hospitality Limited and Brightsparks as an Events Hospitality staff from January 2017 to October 2017. During this time, they worked at various events and held positions such as VIP plate and wine waiting, bartending, barista, customer support, and team leader.
In February 2017, Jorjha joined Starbucks as an Assistant Store Manager, where they supported the opening of a new store in London. Jorjha'sresponsibilities included hiring and training staff, conducting marketing analysis, creating an online social media presence, coaching employees, handling administrative tasks, analysing market trends, and organizing in-store events. Jorjha worked in this role until December 2017.
From February 2018 to May 2018, Jorjha worked as a Social Media Intern at Studio Culture. Jorjha then joined Flight Centre Travel Group in July 2018 as a Travel Consultant. In September 2019, they were promoted to the role of Assistant Team Leader, where they built and managed client relationships, generated sales, and provided tailored travel packages. Jorjha worked in this role until March 2020.
During the initial response to COVID-19, Jorjha was contracted at Stellar as a Customer Solutions Specialist from April 2020 to July 2020. Jorjha then transitioned to the role of Team Leader until October 2020, where they were redeployed across various work types in response to the rise in unemployment.
Currently, Jorjha works at oOh! since February 2021 as a Campaign Executive in the QLD sales team. In this role, they assist with the sales process from brief to pitch and manages the post-sales process. Jorjha'sresponsibilities include using booking and CRM systems, maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders, and demonstrating proactivity with client, product, and industry knowledge. Jorjha was promoted to the role of Business Manager in March 2023.
Throughout their career, Jorjha has gained experience in customer service, sales, team leadership, event management, social media, and campaign execution.
Jorjha Unwin completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended TAFE Queensland from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Cert IV in Business with a field of study in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Additionally, Jorjha Unwin has obtained several certifications, including "Marketing Analytics and Insights" from RMIT Online in July 2020, "Adopting Agile," "Adopting Social Media Marketing," and "Design Thinking" from Torrens University Australia in June 2020, "Google Analytics for Beginners" from Google Analytics Academy in March 2020, and various certifications in UX Design and Marketing obtained from Lynda.com and LinkedIn in 2018.
