Harsha Prag has a diverse range of work experience. They started their career as a Research Executive at The Nielsen Company in 2004 and then moved on to work as a Jnr Brand Manager at Colgate Palmolive from 2005 to 2008. From 2008 to 2014, Harsha worked at JWT, starting as a Strategic Planner and progressing to become a Strategic Planning Director. They were responsible for leading the development of strategic direction for clients' businesses, managing a team of strategists, and identifying new opportunities. In 2015, Harsha joined Kantar Added Value as an Associate Director Brand, where they crafted strategic solutions for clients' business challenges. In 2017, they co-founded Granadilla Swing, serving as the Marketing Director. In 2019, Harsha founded LESEDI Kids Clothing. In 2020, they joined BankerX as part of the leadership team, focused on democratizing access to financial education. Currently, Harsha is working at ooba Home Loans, initially as a Marketing Manager Innovation and later as the Head of Marketing from March 2023 onwards. Their experience demonstrates expertise in marketing, strategy development, team leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Harsha Prag attended the University of Cape Town from 1997 to 2000, where they pursued a degree in Business Science with a focus on Marketing and Economics. In addition to their formal education, Harsha obtained several certifications in recent years. In August 2022, they completed a course titled "Introduction to Negotiation: A Strategic Playbook for Becoming a Principled and Persuasive Negotiator" on Coursera. In July 2022, they received a certification in Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy. Prior to that, in June 2022, they obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Innovation Leadership from edX.
