Michael Hornemann has extensive work experience in the wind energy industry. Michael started their career as a Field Engineer at GE Wind Energy in 2001 and worked on various projects, including the development of a system for testing wind turbines and a portable hub crane for turbine components. In 2008, they joined Clipper Windpower as a Project Engineer before moving to EDPR in 2009, where they served as the Manager of Turbine Performance. Michael worked at EDPR until 2012 when they joined ONYX InSight (formerly Romax InSight) as a Wind Drivetrain Engineering Consultant.
Michael Hornemann earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman. Michael attended the university from 1996 to 2000.
