Suryan Stalin is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in geospatial technology and data management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for the Geo Data Platform at onXmaps, Inc. since March 2023, Suryan specializes in data pipelines, incremental change detection, and entity resolution. Previously, Suryan held prominent positions including Principal Engineer at GroundTruth, where responsibilities included spatial data structures, map conflation, and team leadership, and Principal Engineer at AirMap, focused on next-generation maps for low altitude airspace travel. Earlier roles included Director of Engineering at deCarta, Senior Engineering Manager at TeleNav, and software engineering positions at Tele Atlas, Inxight Software, and Autodesk. Suryan holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick and a Master’s in Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science.
