Gena Krol has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Freelance .NET developer until March 2012. During this time, they served as a .NET Developer. Gena then joined Ciklum in May 2012 and worked there as an Angular/.NET Developer until November 2019. Gena then moved to WorkFlowWise, where they held the role of Angular/.NET Developer from May 2012 onwards. At WorkFlowWise, Gena also worked as a Solutions Architect from November 2013. In October 2020, Gena joined ONVENTIS GmbH as a Cloud Architect, where they currently work as a Senior Software Engineer with specialization in Azure, Kubernetes, .NET, .NET Core, and Angular. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated their expertise in software development, process improvement, continuous integration, and modern version control systems.

Gena Krol obtained a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Dnipropetrovsk State Technical University of Railway Transport, which they attended from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In October 2019, they became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate. Later, in July 2022, they obtained two more certifications, namely Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
