Alim Baytekin has extensive experience in engineering and management roles, particularly within Ontario Power Generation since March 2014, where notable positions include Manager of PNGS Station Engineering for Conventional Systems - Electrical and Outage Control Centre Manager at Pickering, overseeing multiple forced and planned outages. Prior to this, Alim served as Section Manager in Nuclear Engineering, focusing on System Engineering and Construction Engineering, and contributed to design engineering for electrical and integrated systems. Additional roles include CEO and Analyst at a telecommunications consulting firm, translator for Canadian Heritage, and various supervisory positions. Education includes a Master's in Linguistics from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor's in Economics, and a degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Carleton University. Alim has also engaged in robotics and embedded systems development through various university projects and volunteer efforts.
