Community Engagement Coordinator at Ontario Native Women's Association (ONWA)

Sally Woodside is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement and advocacy within Indigenous contexts. Currently serving as the Community Engagement Coordinator at the Ontario Native Women's Association since May 2021 and as the Well-Being Project Coordinator for CAAN Communities, Alliances & Networks since November 2021, Sally has demonstrated a commitment to fostering community education and harm reduction. Previous roles include Community Prevention with the Ontario Aboriginal HIV/AIDS Strategy and Communication Engagement Officer at Nokiiwin Tribal Council. Sally holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Indigenous Studies, History, and Sociology from the University of Toronto and is furthering education at Confederation College.
