Nicole Simone currently serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Invest Ontario, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, Nicole demonstrated expertise in strategic policy and management at the Ontario Ministry of Education, where duties included Director of Strategic Policy and Manager of Strategic Initiatives from September 2017 to November 2022. Additional experience includes roles such as Manager of Policy Alignment and Strategic Engagement at the Treasury Board Secretariat and Senior Policy Advisor in various capacities within the Ontario Public Service. Nicole began their career in policy and analysis with positions at the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Finance, and the Office of the Auditor General of Canada. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Policy and Organizational Behaviour from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour from McMaster University.
