John Thomas is a seasoned professional in economic development and investment, currently serving as a Senior Account Executive at Invest Ontario since June 2021. Prior experience includes leadership roles as Team Lead for Lead Generation at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, and as a Senior Foreign Direct Investment Consultant at the Ontario Investment Office. John also worked as a Procurement Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services, and as a Senior Buyer for the Town of Whitby. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing with a minor in Finance from Ryerson University.
