Gabriella Siciliano is a communications and marketing manager at the Ontario Investment Office. Gabriella has also worked as the director of digital and insights for WAN-IFRA Women in News. In this role, they led key strategic projects such as a 20-country research project on sexual harassment in newsrooms, an automated text gender tracker using natural language processing (NLP), and a gender balance in content tool for journalists and media managers. Gabriella is responsible for building a cross-regional communications function, a new visual brand (including a new website), social and digital media, digital product development, and reporting. Gabriella provides strategic advice for programs active throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, and Southeast Asia.
