Rebecca Kelsey has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. In 2012, they worked as a Special Events Coordinator at The Drake Hotel for a brief period. From 2010 to 2011, they served as a Senior Events & Sales Coordinator at The Distillery Historic District before transitioning to an Operations role within the same organization from 2007 to 2010.
Rebecca then moved into the field of healthcare and education. Starting in 2012, they joined the University Health Network, initially as an Education Coordinator for the Interprofessional Education Curriculum and later as a Process Lead & Program Manager for the same curriculum. In this role, they managed a large curriculum and provided guidance to faculty and leadership.
In 2016, Rebecca started their own consulting company, Rebecca Kelsey Consulting. As a consultant, they offered executive and advisory support, project management, and strategic communications services to clients in the healthcare and higher education sectors. Notable clients included Unity Health Toronto and St. Michael's Hospital.
In addition to their consulting work, Rebecca held policy advisory positions at the Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario (CAHO) from 2016 to 2019, where they focused on the Toronto Academic Health Science Network (TAHSN). Rebecca later joined the University of Toronto in 2019 as an Advisor for the Toronto Academic Health Science Network, providing strategic guidance and coordination across GTA Hospitals, Colleges, and Universities. Rebecca also took the lead on COVID-19 education and medical affairs response activities within the network.
Most recently, in 2022, Rebecca joined the Ontario Hospital Association as a Senior Consultant, specializing in strategy and member relations.

Rebecca Kelsey completed their education with a Masters of Education degree in Leadership, Adult and Higher Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto. This program lasted from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a BA Honours degree in Dance & Kinesiology from York University, which they pursued from 2005 to 2010.
In addition to their degrees, Rebecca has also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they completed the Emerging Leaders Certificate Program from the University Health Network and the Teaching Fundamentals Certificate Program from the University of Toronto. In 2014, they obtained the ehpic certificate in Educating Health Professionals in Interprofessional Care, also from the University Health Network.
