Micheal Mooney, C.E.T., serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Windshear since September 2022, leading a venture studio that commercializes innovative processes and actively builds tech-centric businesses. Previously, Micheal held various influential positions at the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT), including President and Vice President of IETO, overseeing professional qualifications and certification processes. As Executive Director of Creative Lab North from May 2021 to May 2022, Micheal aimed to advance the creative industries in northern regions. Prior experience includes a Senior Consultant role at GEI Consultants, Inc., and co-founding Mooney Metaxas Engineering Inc., which was acquired by GEI Consultants in 2020. Micheal's educational background includes a Civil Engineering Technology degree from Conestoga College and a Computer Networks Technology degree from RCC College of Technology.
