Jacob Crump has over 8 years of work experience, starting with their role as a Maintenance Crew at Davis Mill & Cabinet in 2013. Jacob also worked as a Teaching Assistant and Engineering Ambassador at Utah State University, and as a Soccer Referee for UFHS and UYSA. Jacob then worked for three years as an Assistant Sales Manager at Specialized Pest Control and Lawn Care, where they performed estimates, solved problems, and sold services to potential customers. In 2017, they joined Interopion as a Software Engineer, where they worked for over five years. Jacob also worked briefly as a Research Associate in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Utah. Jacob will be joining Ontada in October 2022 as a Software Engineer.

Jacob Crump completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Utah State University in the year 2015. In 2016, they pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Utah, which they completed in 2018. Before their Bachelor's degree, in 2013, Jacob obtained Lab Safety Initial Training certification, although the institution is unknown.
