Colin Mertlik has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Colin started their career in 2011 as a Pro-Shop Assistant at River Wilds Golf Club. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at The University of South Dakota as a member of the football team and also served as a Summer Camp Counselor during the summers of 2014 to 2016. In 2017, they joined Werner Enterprises as a Transportation Manager and later transitioned to the role of Associate Logistics Manager from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they joined Helget Gas Products as a Regional Operations Manager, a role they held until 2022. Currently, Colin Mertlik is working as a Regional Operations Manager at Onsight Healthcare.

Colin Mertlik completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the University of South Dakota from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university between 2013 and 2017. Colin's primary education took place at Blair High School, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
