Damian Laviolette has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Damian'smost recent position is as a Port Commissioner at the Port of Nehalem, which they started in 2021. Prior to that, they were the Chief Information Security Officer at OnPoint Community Credit Union starting in 2022. From 2020 to 2022, Damian served on the School District Budget Committee for NEAH-KAH-NIE SD 56. Before that, they were the Director of Information Technology and Cyber Security at Tillamook County from 2019 to 2022. Damian has also held leadership roles at Webster Bank, where they served as the SVP and Chief Information Security Officer from 2014 to 2019, and at Umpqua Bank, where they were the VP and Network Security Operations Manager from 2012 to 2014. Prior to their career in the banking industry, Damian served in the US Army as a Signal Officer and State Information Security Officer from 1992 to 2012.
