Janita Onnelainen has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to the present. Janita started their career as a Media Producer at Lahden Pelicans Oy in 2012 and then worked as a Photographer and Graphic Designer at Lahden NMKY ry from 2013 to 2014. Janita also worked as a Graphic Designer and Photographer at Islandb from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were an Entrepreneur and Graphic Designer at their own company, Janita Onnelainen tmi. After that, they joined ONNI (Med Group Oy) as a Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant from 2017 to 2018. Following that, they worked at Fennia as a Marketing Designer from 2018 to 2019, and then as a Digital Designer from 2019 to 2021. Since 2021, they have been working at ONNI (Med Group Oy) again, first as a Marketing and Communications Designer and currently as a Marketing & Communications Manager.

Janita Onnelainen completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Marketing from Lahti University of Applied Sciences between the years 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they attended Koulutuskeskus Salpaus from 2011 to 2014, where they pursued studies in Graphic Design. No degree was specified for the latter educational experience.
