Leeluleilani Stockton is a Research Associate in Chemistry at ONI since March 2023, following a tenure as a Mentee in the CSTEM Professional Mentoring Program at CSUSM from September 2022 to April 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant in Organic Chemistry at Iafe Lab from January 2021 to December 2022 and a Medicinal Chemistry Intern at Neurocrine Biosciences during the summer of 2022. Leeluleilani's earlier roles also encompass peer mentorship in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Targeted Learning Community at CSUSM, where guidance was provided to students from underrepresented backgrounds. Participation in the 2021 CSTEM Summer Scholar Program involved conducting research on benzotriazole derivatives. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from California State University San Marcos, earned in December 2022, complemented by a High School Diploma from Mission Hills High School.
