Kevin Odida has worked in the international development sector since 2011. In 2012, they began working as a Freelance Financial Data Metrics/Analytics and Knowledge Management Consultant for various international development organizations. In 2011, they began working as a Junior Monitoring and Evaluation and Mixed Research Consultant and Finance and Accounting Intern for GIZ. In 2015, they worked as a Data Analytics Consultancy for the International Rescue Committee. In 2016, they worked as a Knowledge Management Consultant for UN Environment. In 2018, they worked as a Knowledge Management, Research and Human Resources Expert for OnFrontiers. In 2019, they worked as a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Consultant for Cowater International and a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (PMP) Consultant and Monitoring and Verification Consultant for SoCha, LLC. In 2020, they worked as an Independent Survey Report Writer/Consultant for RTI International.
Kevin Odida has an extensive education history. Kevin completed their O Level at Kakamega High School from 2002 to 2005. Kevin then went on to obtain a Diploma in Business Management from the University of Nairobi in 2007-2008. Following this, they earned a Certification in Computerised Accounting from Vision Institute of Professionals in 2009. Kevin then went on to complete a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Finance from the University of Nairobi from 2009 to 2012. Finally, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Kevin has obtained certifications in Introduction to ODK from Statistics for Sustainable Development in November 2020, Project Monitoring and Evaluation from the Kenya Institute of Management in December 2018, Computerised Accounting (Quick books and Sage) from Vision Institute of Professionals in May 2009, and Microsoft Office from Universal College.
