Al Sowers is the current President & CEO at OneZero Solutions. Prior to this, they served as Coast Guard Cyber Command from April 2014 to March 2017. In this role, they were the Maritime Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources Team Lead and Command Duty Officer at Cyber Security Operation Center. Al has also served in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Al Sowers received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the US Coast Guard Academy. Al then went on to get their Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Al is also certified in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)².
