Elaine Scerri is an experienced professional in compliance and risk management, currently serving as the Chief Compliance and Risk Officer, Data Protection Officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer, and an Executive Committee Member at Oney Insurance since April 2018. Prior to this role, Elaine held the position of Group Compliance Officer at Atlas Group from January 2015 to April 2018, overseeing compliance for multiple insurance entities. Elaine's career began at Atlas Insurance PCC Ltd as a Compliance Officer from May 2005 to December 2014 and included a role as Coordinator at the Malta Bankers' Association from October 2003 to April 2005, focusing on regulatory issues. Elaine holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Malta, obtained between 1999 and 2003.
