Carlos Urbina serves as the Country Director for One World Health in Honduras, a position held since January 2020. Prior to this role, Carlos was the General Manager for Análisis Clínicos del Ahorro, responsible for training teams in accounting processes using video resources on Moodle. Carlos also gained significant experience as the Regional Operations Manager for Kielsa Farmaceutica in Nicaragua from 2014 to 2018 and briefly worked as the Quality Manager for Latin America at SML De Honduras, implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance production quality. Earlier career experience includes a technical support role at Avery Dennison, focusing on thermal transfer labels in the textile industry. Carlos holds an Industrial Engineering degree with a specialization in Process Improvement from FH Gelsenkirchen and Universidad Catolica de Honduras, completed in 2006.
