Ludovic Coelho is a development engineer at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since April 2019, specializing in numerical methods and optimization for aeroelasticity. Coelho's work involves developing a reliability-based design optimization methodology for composite laminates under uncertainty, employing innovative multi-scale approaches and surrogate model strategies to enhance computational efficiency. Previously, Coelho interned on improving fluid-structure coupling methods for helicopters, implementing analytical methods within Arbitrary Eulerian Lagrangian equations. Coelho has additional internship experience at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and CNRS, focusing on CFD simulation and the behavior study of paper planes, respectively. Coelho holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Université Paris-Saclay and has completed a Master's degree in Computational Mechanics from Sorbonne Université.
