José Ignacio Cardesa Dueñas is currently a Research Engineer at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab, where José Ignacio studies, develops, and implements models of laminar-turbulent transition in aerodynamics. Prior to their current position, José Ignacio held postdoctoral researcher roles at CERFACS, Institut de Mécanique des Fluides de Toulouse, and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. José completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Experimental Fluid Mechanics and Turbulence at the University of Cambridge, and José Ignacio also holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the same institution. José Ignacio obtained their Aeronautical Engineering degree from RWTH Aachen University and a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London.
