James Hwang has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. James served as the Chief Executive Officer at 1Path, a nationwide IT services company, where they led and built the organization. James was also a Member of the Board of Directors at Bank of Hope, focusing on strategy, governance, and technology committees. Prior to that, they served as the CEO at Cal Net Technology Group/NexusTek and as the Executive Vice President at Alphaworks, LLC. James also held key positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where they served as the Regional Vice President & GM - Central US Storage, Converged Infrastructure & BURA. Additionally, they gained valuable experience through various roles in sales, product management, and corporate development at different global technology companies. James started their career as an officer in the US Army.

James Hwang completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Operations Research & Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they attended from 1990 to 1994.
