Leah Montgomery has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Leah is currently working at OneOncology as a Counsel, a position they started in March 2022. Prior to this, they owned and practiced law at Palmetto Legal Solutions, LLC since June 2016. From August 2021 to March 2022, Leah worked at Syneos Health as a Sr. Site Contracts Lead. Leah also held the role of Site Contracts Lead at Syneos Health from August 2020 to August 2021. Before Syneos Health, Leah worked at IQVIA as a Regulatory and Start Up Specialist II, Site Contract Negotiations. In this role, they were responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and budgets for research site startup. Leah's earlier experiences include working as an Associate University Counsel/Sr. Employee Relations Generalist/Title IX Deputy Coordinator at Claflin University from July 2016 to February 2020, as an Attorney at Thomas & Brittain, PA from 2014 to May 2016, and as a Law Clerk for The Honorable Cynthia Graham Howe, Horry County Master in Equity from September 2012 to February 2014.
Leah Montgomery has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Communications and Media Studies from the College of Charleston. Leah also earned a Juries Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. In addition to their formal education, Leah has obtained various certifications including Leadership Strategies for Women, Inclusive Leadership, Introduction to FDA Human Drug Review and Approval Basics, Communicating with Confidence, Embracing Unexpected Change, Negotiation Foundations, Excel Essential Training (Office 365), Learning OneNote Online (Office 365), and Microsoft Planner Essential Training. Leah is also a member of the South Carolina Bar Association.
