Yuri Smirnov has over 25 years of experience in the technology, e-commerce, and consulting industries. In 1993, they began their career as a Management Consultant at Accenture. Yuri then moved to PwC in 1995 as an SAP R/3 Senior Consultant. In 1998, they joined Zytalis (formerly Premium Consulting) as a Consulting Services. In 2006, they were appointed as Director of Product Management at PharmaOne. From 2008 to 2017, they worked at Microsoft as Lead Program Manager for Central & Eastern Europe. In 2013, they co-founded MODAROLA and served as Director of Product Engineering and E-Commerce. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. as Principal Tech Product Manager. Currently, they are VP of Engineering at OneForce Inc., an intelligent software company specializing in knowledge work automation.

Yuri Smirnov obtained an MSc in Applied Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) between 1986 and 1992. In 2017, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Professional certification. In 2018, they obtained a Kafka Essential Training certification from LinkedIn. In 2021, they obtained an edX Verified Certificate for AI for Leaders from edX.
