Himber Villarreal has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Himber most recently worked at the One Earth Future Foundation, where they held the positions of Global Finance Controller and later moved onto the role of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, he worked at Travis County as the Deputy Chief of Finance for the Juvenile Probation Department.
Before that, Himber worked at the International Youth Foundation, where they held several roles, including, Director of Global Financial Operations, Director of Finance for Latin America and the Caribbean, and Finance Manager for the Latin America Region.
Their earlier experience includes working as the Director of Finance and Administration at E.L. Haynes PCS and as a Project Manager at BuildingBlocks International. Himber's career began at FINCA International, where they worked as a Research Assistant.
Throughout their career, Himber Villarreal has displayed expertise in finance, operations, compliance, and leadership roles, working in various organizations and overseeing financial management, budgeting, and reporting functions.
Himber Villarreal obtained a BA in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Denver, earning an MA in Finance and Economics from 1997 to 2000.
