Liam Mitchell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Liam most recently worked at Advanced, starting in September 2023 as the Director of Platform Engineering - PaaS. Prior to this role, they were the Cloud Enablement & PaaS Director from May 2022 to August 2023 and the Head of Cloud Enablement from September 2021 to April 2022. Liam also has experience at Science Warehouse Ltd, where they held the position of Engineering Manager from March 2015 to February 2018, and Development Team Lead from May 2014 to March 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Business Analyst at Science Warehouse Ltd from November 2011 to May 2013. Liam began their career at Santander Cards UK Limited as a Complex Servicing Associate from September 2010 to May 2011. Prior to that, they worked as a Test Analyst at The Sterling Group for a brief period in 2008.

Liam Mitchell completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computing for Business at the University of Leeds from 2006 to 2010. Liam also obtained an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT in 2013. In 2015, they received a Scrum Master Certification from The Knowledge Academy. Prior to their university education, they attended Altrincham Grammar School for Boys where they completed their GCSE/A Level studies from 1998 to 2005.
