Alexis Gewertz is an experienced professional in operations and financial management, currently serving as the Grants & Financial Manager at One8 Foundation since October 2023 and as a member of Operations Nation since May 2023. Prior to this, Gewertz held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Re-Imagining Migration from September 2021 to October 2023, overseeing people operations, financial reporting, and legal compliance. Gewertz also served as Assistant Director of the Pluralism Project at Harvard University from June 2016 to February 2021, where significant achievements included securing over $500,000 in funding and enhancing the project's online presence. Earlier roles included Coordinator of Educational Programming at Harvard Divinity School and Planning Associate at Combined Jewish Philanthropies. Gewertz holds a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School and a BA in Philosophy & Religion and Spanish, magna cum laude, from Colgate University.
