Carla Watson currently serves as the Deputy Supported Housing Manager at One YMCA, a position held since May 2023. Previously, Carla was with Hightown for over eleven years, where roles included Service Manager, overseeing a growing housing first service and multiple outreach services alongside a homeless night shelter, as well as Scheme Manager for a care and supported housing homeless night shelter. Earlier in the career at Hightown, Carla started as a Housing Support Worker and was promoted to Scheme Manager. Prior to this, Carla worked as a Senior Support Worker at United Response from December 2002 to April 2012. Carla holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours degree in Drama and Arts Education from Bretton Hall College of the University of Leeds, completed in 2002.
