Dušan Trnka began their work experience in 2017 as a Software Quality Assurance Tester at Accenture. Dušan then joined FRINX in 2018 as a Junior Software Developer. In 2019, they started working at Bitpanda Pro, initially as a Software Engineer and later as a Technical Lead / Lead Software Engineer. At Bitpanda Pro, they played a key role in developing and enhancing core functions of the crypto exchange platform, improving order processing tail latencies, and materializing states of orders from event sourcing in an idempotent way. Dušan also led projects such as the development and integration of the Funding Gateway, which approves and executes transactions worth millions of assets, and the integration with payment providers to reduce transfer processing times.

Dušan Trnka completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Science from Technische Universität Wien, starting in 2018 and ending in 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bakalář (Bc.) degree in Informační technologie from Czech Technical University in Prague, studying from 2015 to 2018. Before their university studies, Dušan attended Justus-von-Liebig-Schule Neusäß from 2013 to 2014 where they focused on Cudzie jazyky (Foreign Languages). Dušan'ssecondary education took place at Osemročné Gymnázium Trebišovská 12 Košice from 2007 to 2015, with a focus on Cudzie Jazyky (Foreign Languages).
