Sarah J. has a diverse range of work experience. In 2017, they worked as a Content Writer at One Firefly and as an Editorial Assistant/Contributing Writer at Best of WDW. In 2016, they completed an editorial internship at SJR and a writing internship at Monologue Blogger. Prior to that, they served as the New Member Educator for the Zeta Sigma Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority in 2014. In 2013, Sarah was a USC Dance Marathon Morale Captain for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Sarah J. completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of South Carolina, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
